Usui Reiki Level One
With the majority of my lifetime as working in the nursing profession--I have seen the need for people to be able to help themselves becoming paramount in their well-being.
With all the chronic disease and then the life threatening diseases we are faced with every day that we are touched by it either personally or through a family member or friend.
In the 1980's I remember in nursing school how the rate of cancer is 1 in 200, today we are lucky if we are not touched by it at all. Such a growing prevalance it has become --and this is not including the rare, autoimmune diseases that are cropping up as being common place. Is it our environment, our genetics, our food or other lifestyle or always being on the go and not nourishing our body with good nourishing food and/or relaxation time from the stress all around us?
What I love and am so grateful about Reiki is that fact that it does not matter what is the cause. It does not matter not knowing what to do to heal. Reiki has an inate ability to go and heal what is most needed at the time. Whether that be on the physical, mental, emotional, physical or spiritual level--it heals on all these levels. The best part is all we have to do is to allow it to flow and the rest is allowed to happen. The best way for Reiki to healing is to do just that allow it to flow without any intention of what needs to be healed. Its higher consciousness knows what we can't possibly know at the time. In doing this it also takes the responsibility out of our hands--we are a mere channel for it to flow through--as easy as allowing the rain to fall on your head. Its a simple, non-intrusive--healing and powerful technique that anyone from children to seniors can learn.
The process to be able to connect with the Reiki energy is the attunement process that opens your energetic centers and body, heart, and hands to this beautiful, gentle healing energy.
So I ask you to take the first step and empower yourself and your family because what you do always benefits your family as well. I have been fortunate to be able to have take my Reiki Master from three Masters from Dr. Usui'S linkage. This has allowed me to see the impact and different teaching and learning style from different instructors. My love and respect for Reiki has also been shown by taking the extra time, committment and cost and doing the Reiki Master level 3 times.

The attunement is also a clearing and a healing as well. Working on others with Reiki allows the Reiki to work through you and you also receive the healing energy. Does not leave you depleted and tired --on the contrary you feel refreshed and energized. The person receives the energy may feel sensations of warmth, cold, tingling, vibrations and deep relaxation. All energy received is for the person's highest good.
